Temperature sensors

Looking for recommendations, please, for a temperature sensor that will integrate with Home Assistant or IFTTT.

(I have come responsible for a remote property that it often unoccupied. The insurance says it must be heated to 12C throughout the winter; I want to have two or three heaters across the house, individually controlled by temperature-sensing switches. The house has broadband, so remote access to the system is fine. It has very thick walls, so Zigbee would really struggle - I've already installed mesh wifi so if the sensors were wifi based - as compared to zigged or Z-wave - that would be a plus)
