Two separate mesh networks in one apartment?

My friend and I bought a large apartment to get on the property ladder but live pretty much independently.

I have a TP Link Deco X50 (set of three) creating a network covering all of my smart home stuff (Tuyla bridge, Hue bridge etc.). My room mate has a basic router plugged into my Main Deco which creates a separate network for all their stuff (including having their Hue bridge plugged into their router etc). My roommate has sucky speeds and patchy coverage so use my Deco Guest network for working from home.

Roommate now wants to upgrade to TP Link Deco X50 and recreate the setup ie replace their basic router with a new main deco for them. Question: Is this possible?

(FYI: My Main Deco is plugged into the ISP supplied router which is in bridge mode but they only allow a single port to be active.)
