Battery powered, wireless, indoor security camera suggestion.

Hey everyone.

I need to install couple of security cameras in the hallways of two separate floors in an apartment building. The limitation is that no wiring (either power or ethernet) should be present, so my options are limited to (and should offer):

• wireless camera

• battery powered

• no subscription

• send push notifications on a phone app when movement is detected

And here are some questions, because I genuinely have no clue on how these would eventually work:

1. Is having a hub for the cameras mandatory, or there are models that can connect to a wireless network by themselves?
2. As they only need to operate on motion detection, is there a need for a local storage to store footage?
