How to get Deco x20 to act as speakers for Google Home or Alexa broadcasts? (Google NEST doorbell)

I've tried attaching the Deco mesh routers to both alexa and google home, they are only linkable as routers with no option to have them hybrid or separate as speakers. It's a bit of a pain as I was hoping to use them for doorbell ringers.

I also have a lenovo smart clock and wanted to use it but it's also not an option for the doorbell ringers.

Does anyone have recommendations for this? I am fine with anything at this point, if I go for the HomeAssistant route (was trying to avoid the commitment) I'll grab a Pi. Tried running it on an old PC once and it was horrid to deal with the Microsoft crap.
