services and ssl are a nightmare

This is just a runt.

I spent the whole morning on this, but not only, I alreday tried many times before and never managed to get to work something that in my head seemed quite easy:

I want to set HA and nextclound on a local server. That simple.

What I have that makes live theoretically easier...but in fact, harder?

  • PC
  • Fritzbox as router
  • duckdns as dyndns
  • home assistant docker
  • nextclound docker
  • traefik docker

In theory is that easy:

  1. Set duckdns pointing to me.
  2. Set fritzbox to inform duckdns of new ip. Used both https and http alternatives.
  3. Set fritzbox to allow ports 443 and 80 for traefik.
  4. make traefik+ha+nextcloud docker.compose.yaml. Traefik will take care of letsencrypt. addresses shall be ha.NAME.duckdns.org and nc.NAME.duckdns.org

I found several pages explaining every detail, but no way, I always end up with "404 page not found"

Is what I want THAT complicated? Man, I feel I would have needed to go to the university to manage such simple thing: be able to access HA without going throuh the red page of google telling me "oh, wait, this seem to be phishing!" thing.
