So I purchased a Samsung A7 lite and got it set up last weekend as a dashboard using sharptools and installed a wall mount kit for it. Problem is, it dies after about 16 hrs due to the wake feature I think of the kiosk browser I've set up. The wall mount kit came with a long cord so I will be installing a receptacle below it and using some cord hiders.
Anyways, I am installing a Easton smart wifi receptacle that integrates with smartthings (that I'm running everything through) and I'm curious, should I try and run maybe a zapier automation to turn the outlet off when the tablet is at 100% charge and then turn back on at 20% charge? Or just leave it always running? We may use it as a tablet when we travel so keeping the battery health at maximum makes sense.
