Temperature sensor with no disposable batteries?

So I'm at the end of my patience with the fiddly confusing crap that is Shelly H&T. Are there any other temperature sensors that don't require disposable batteries? (Shelly plugs and lights are fine by the way, just the H&T that can be extremely frustrating to operate.)

Rechargeable batteries, USB or mains power are all fine. And I just want to be able to read temperatures into my own systems somehow (so the sensor can't be locked in some proprieratary app only).

Any suggestions, please?
