Grid Connect / Google home not working

Hi, My house is a grid connect home and I use Google voice commands through Google home. Recently I haven't been able to execute any commands and it says "unable to reach grid connect" everything works as it should through the grid connect app. Any ideas how to restore this service without starting from scratch as I have quite a few scenes in grid connect. I've tried disconnecting and re connecting the google service.
